Refraction: Perspectives Across Time explores how different artists interpret the world through their unique lenses as artistic expression evolves across generations, reflecting personal histories, cultural influences and shifting perspectives.
This one-night-only exhibition will showcase the work of 15 artists from diverse cultural and generational backgrounds. Taking place at the Good Hotel on Saturday, 24 May 2025, the evening opens with powerful spoken-word performances, inviting the audience to explore how art shifts, bends and evolves over time such as light refracting through a prism.
Spanning painting, digital art, photography and mixed media, the exhibition captures the essence of personal narratives, shared histories and the distinct perspectives shaped by age, experience and identity. A space where emerging voices and established artists coexist, converse and reflect on their unique interpretations of the world and what art means to them. In this exhibition you will witness the richness of perspective and see how different generations use art to connect, question and inspire.
